Virat Kohli, the renowned Indian cricketer, was born on November 5, 1988, in Delhi, India. He grew up in a middle-class family and developed a keen interest in cricket from a very young age. His father, Prem Kohli, worked as a criminal lawyer, while his mother, Saroj Kohli, is a homemaker. Kohli has two siblings, an older brother named Vikas and an older sister named Bhavna.

During his early years, Kohli attended the Vishal Bharti Public School in Delhi, where his cricketing talents began to shine. He started playing cricket seriously at a very young age and quickly rose through the ranks in the local cricket circuit. His father supported his passion and enrolled him in the West Delhi Cricket Academy, where he received proper coaching and guidance.

Kohli's determination and talent were evident as he continued to perform exceptionally well in junior cricket tournaments. His breakthrough came when he captained the Indian U-19 cricket team to victory in the 2008 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. This victory showcased his leadership abilities and marked him as a rising star in Indian cricket.

His performances in domestic cricket earned him a spot in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) franchise. His consistent performances in the IPL, coupled with his impressive domestic record, led to his selection in the Indian national cricket team.

Virat Kohli made his international debut for India in August 2008 during an ODI (One Day International) match against Sri Lanka. He quickly adapted to the international level and showcased his remarkable batting skills. Over the years, Kohli's dedication to fitness, his aggressive playing style, and his ability to chase down targets made him one of the most dominant and reliable batsmen in world cricket.

Kohli's personal life also garnered attention, particularly his relationship with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, whom he eventually married in December 2017.
